We started off the morning at the Palace of Holyroodhouse, which is still a royal residence used by Queen Elizabeth II for a week every summer. It was a beautiful palace, accompanied by the ruins of an abbey. I was especially happy because Mary Queen of Scots lived in the palace from 1561 to 1567. My heart ached hearing about the heartbreak she endured while living here.
We had a delicious lunch in the palace cafe after our tour. Hannah's children's meal was adorable.
Afterwards, we walked to the other end of the Royal Mile to Edinburgh Castle, which was also lived in by Mary Queen of Scots. It was huge and honestly quite overwhelming.

Such a beautiful place and experience you share,thanks for sharing.Hope you had enjoyed it and everybody has tried to visit there at-least once for getting new change in environment and places.
